I have so many things to be thankful for, and in a digital age, my journal just doesn't cut it. By the time I get out that old friend, my leatherbound diary, I am ready to fall asleep. Hopefully things will be more practical. Anyway, today...
1) The Journey Church. These people are crazy about God, and they make me want to grow closer to Him, as well. But God and I have had such a rocky relationship that I hope my church friends will be patient while the Lord and I "work out our issues."
2) Getting pretty much everything done on my to-do list today.
3) Shopping for my student Zeniah's new little baby sister. Someday I will buy those little outfits for my own little baby girl, no rush though :)
4) The Grammys. Is there anything better in the world?
5) Dark chocolate m&ms.
6) A relaxing and rainy weekend, with lots of sleep involved.
7) Going to Shaniah's gymnastics meet Saturday. It was so fun to see my little 2nd grader in her element. She's not the smartest, or the best reader, but everybody has SOMETHING they are phenomenal at, and this is hers. It felt good to support her in her talent.
8) Laughing in bed with the man I love as we waste the day away talking in silly accents and making pointless jokes. What a great life I have.
9) My little peanut butter Olivia. I really pray I get to see her this summer.
10) Meeting with my advisor/dean/least favorite professor and finding out that if I commit to basically torturing myself this weekend, I will have my masters at the end of Spring 2011. A little over a year from now. Holy cow.

And a bonus #11
11) Dad. I thought about him a lot today, and smiled to remember his smell.
